The Hove Park Alamanc was born out of a desire to harness the incredible successes and achievements that punctuate a typical academic year in our school. It has since become an annual tradition and is the publication we are most proud of as it reflects not only academic achievements but the rich and diverse activities that happen outside of the classroom across and beyond the subject spectrum.
Welcome to the fourth Hove Park Almanac. Starting with the International day of Peace in September, right up to the sponsored walk along the South Downs Way in July, our students have been making their education come alive this year and this Almanac is our way of remember all those moments.
This is our third edition of the Hove Park Almanac and once again, we are delighted to be able to present a window into some of the amazing events that have been taking place across the school. This year we has seen another major step forward in our school's journey toward becoming outstanding. We began the year with yet another record set of results and were confirmed in The Telegraph's list of the top 100 most improved state schools in the country...
It really has been a whirlwind of an academic year, beginning with the dramatic results that gave us the foundations of a secure platform to claim a 'Good' in Ofsted. We also began the year with a new uniform and the increased sense of pride that permeated the whole school and surrounding community...
