Hove Park Sixth Form had an introduction from the Anthony Nolan Trust in assembly last week, and then followed up with a recruitment session in the common room today. The Anthony Nolan Trust matches incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants. The students learned about how they can support the lives of other people by signing up as a potential donor of blood, stem cells and organs. The interest was very high with nearly 20% of Sixth Form signing up today, and a similar number of students taking applications forms away to complete. Hove Park Sixth Form are proud to support the Anthony Nolan Trust and have organised for an annual registration event to take place from now on. Well done students!
